I have been teaching second grade since moving here from Nebraska in 1980. Second grade is a fun grade to teach with the excitement of children becoming fluent readers, adding and subtracting with two digit numbers, learning to count money, and being able to tell time.
I am married to Greg Butler and we have two daughters who both reside in Oklahoma. Darcy is a dietitian. Katie has followed in my footsteps by becoming a Kindergarten teacher.
