READ AND ROMP

BEAR...Be Excited About Reading...and Romping
Mrs Carpenter and Mr. Ponce organized a fantastic afternoon of stories about bears and physical activities that got us moving.
Pictures show our fun.  Take a look.
Doing the BEAR dance.
The teddy bear was named teddy after our president Teddy Roosevelt.  We even had Teddy Grahams as our snack at one of our stations.

Musical buckets!
Our afternoon was a blast!

EASTER FUN

Sugar cookies, frosting, and sprinkles.
We had Jerzi's Grandma, Mrs. Wallace, help show how to decorated with frosting Easter egg shaped cookies.  Mrs. Wallace used to work at GW in the deli and decorated the most "beautiful" cakes, cupcakes, and cookies.  Now she's working as a para here at Marshall.
Look at our pictures of our masterpieces that were decorated and eaten quickly!
Yummy!

Farm Bureau, Orschelns, and Chickens

Kim Douglas brought guests to our classroom.  One was Joe from our local Orscheln Farm and Home store, and the rest of the guests were baby chicks!!
We saw a variety of different types of chicks in various colors.
Here are our pictures!  We were so excited that Joe allowed us to hold the little chirpy critters.

Thanks Farm Bureau, Kim and Joe!
